Saracens Head, Symonds Yat East
Has a wide selection of meals from two different menus: The Bar Menu and The Evening Menu. One can choose to eat in a relaxed and informal environment either outside or in. There are two eating areas inside and two terraces on the river's edge which are surrounded with the natural beauty of the Wye Valley.
Specialist Ales are served.

The Old Court Hotel, Symonds Yat West
Built around 1570 it passed through the hands of various members of the same family for the next 200 years.
Its previous owners have included Thomas Gwillim who was ADC to General Wolfe at the battle of Quebec, and John Graves Simcoe who was the first Governor General of Upper Canada and founder of the city of Toronto.
Once a Medieval Court and, no doubt, once the venue of many a raucous banquet, today it is the unique setting for candlelit dining, where under the expert supervision of the Cordon Bleu Chef, the carefully selected menus offer a wide range of dishes.

Royal Hotel, Symonds Yat East
A good choice for a special meal. Churchill was once a regular !

Ye Olde Ferrie Inne, Symonds Yat West
Nice for a stop on the walk into Whitchurch for the Sunday papers for a pint on the terrace by the river.
New owners of late and some better reports on the pub grub.

Wye Knot Inn, Symonds Yat West
Probably the most popular pub with the locals of Symonds Yat. Food really good and friendly banter.

Quite modern inside. We went there for a meal a month or so back and the food was excellent. The steak in particular was fantastic.
